Restorative Justice Community Courts in Cook County

Margaret Kulujian,
Avondale Restorative Justice Community Court

Margaret Kulujian is the Restorative Justice Community Court Coordinator. She coordinates and oversees the community court activities, allocate resources, and is the connector between community and the court. She graduated with a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Warsaw University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Community Psychology. In her research she is exploring restorative approaches for individual and community conflict, spotlighting restorative justice, and finding ways to reduce youth incarceration. For almost 20 years she was a program producer and host for Polish TV and radio. In 2022 Margaret Kulujian received the Liberty Bell Award from Chicago Bar Association.
